Who we are

JobsEveryday (jobseveryday.com) is operated by Kandala Tech Solutions LLP, Badangpet, Hyderabad 500058, India ("we"). We are the data controller for personal data processed on this platform. We serve people and employers in the United Kingdom and comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our ICO registration has been submitted, and a UK representative under Article 27 is being appointed; this page will be updated with their details. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect and why

• Account data (email, name): to run your account. Legal basis: contract.
• CV and profile data (your CV file, the structured profile our AI extracts from it, your location, right-to-work status, salary preference, availability): to match you to jobs and, when you apply, to share your profile with that employer. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a job-matching service, balanced by the safeguards on this page.
• Preference signals (thumbs up/down, dismissals, saves, applications): to refine your matches. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Employer data (company name, job postings, applicant lists): to provide the hiring service. Legal basis: contract.

We never ask for, collect, or infer special category data - including gender, age, ethnicity, health, religion, or sexual orientation - and we instruct our AI models not to use or infer them.

How our AI is involved

AI reads your CV, builds your profile, and ranks jobs for you with a written explanation. AI on this platform ranks and explains - it never rejects. No solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you: employers see applications and make their own decisions, and you can request human review of anything at [email protected]. Processors we use

Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing of CV text and matching), OpenAI (text embeddings), Resend (email), Cloudflare (DNS). Each processes data under a data processing agreement with international transfer safeguards (UK IDTA or SCCs with the UK Addendum). Aggregated job listings come from employers' public careers feeds and the Reed.co.uk API; applying to those jobs happens on the employer's or source's own site under their privacy policy.

Retention

• Active accounts: kept while you use the service.
• Inactive candidate profiles: deleted or anonymised after 12 months of inactivity.
• Application records held by employers are the employer's responsibility as controller of their own hiring records.
• You can delete your account and CV at any time by emailing us; we action it within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing of your data, and to data portability. Email [email protected] - we respond within one month. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Email

We send transactional email (sign-in links, application updates). Job-alert and marketing email are sent only if you opted in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link. We never cold-email candidates, and we never sell or share your CV with anyone except an employer you apply to.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies (authentication session). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
