Waste Recycling Officer - Based at Edinburgh Airport - Full time /Permanent - 3:00pm – 12:00am or 6:00am - 15:00pm A quick look at the role We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Waste Recycling Officer to support waste and recycling operations at Edinburgh Airport. This hands-on role plays a key part in improving recycling efficiency, reducing contamination and supporting sustainable waste management across the site. Working closely with the Account Director and airport staff, you’ll help ensure waste is correctly segregated, processed and managed safely and efficiently. Your core responsibilities - Collect and transport waste from landside holding areas to the main waste yard - Sort waste streams to maximise recycling levels and minimise contamination - Operate waste compactors and baler machinery to produce high-quality bales (full training provided) - Maintain cleanlines
