Location: Basildon Sporting Village Hours: 8.30 - 5.30 - Holiday Clubs Pay: £13 per hour (plus holiday pay) Contract: Zero - Hour contract What you’ll do day-to-day: - Be every child’s hero by planning, creating, and delivering industry-leading coaching sessions that embody JAG’s whole-child philosophy. - Assess children’s performance, identify strengths and areas for development, and adapt sessions to meet varied needs and abilities. - Use age-appropriate communication and demonstration techniques to make learning fun and easy to follow. - Encourage children to gain and develop skills, knowledge, and confidence — all while maintaining high standards of health and safety. - Ensure every child feels welcome, included, and valued during each session. - Complete daily sign-in/out, maintain records, and follow all JAG safeguarding and health & safety procedures. - Communicate positively with parents, schools, and your team to create meaningful connections and shared success. - Inspire every child to live an active, healthy lifestyle — and to believe they can achieve anything! What we’re looking for: - You’re a natural motivator with a can-do attitude and a passion for working with children aged 4–11. - You hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching or PE, and are confident leading sports sessions or clubs. - You’re creative, adaptable, and able to think on your feet. - You have great communication skills and can explain and demonstrate activities clearly. - You’re reliable, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment. - You genuinely care about helping children learn, grow, and succeed.
