Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as Senior Structural Engineer in one of our offices - whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. We’re at the forefront of innovation, delivering an exceptional portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients - including major UK water companies (Wessex Water, Welsh Water, Southwest Water locally), contractors and international projects. Here’s what you’ll do: - Structural Design: Undertake the design and review of structural elements on wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects, such as water-retaining structures and other water related assets, from concept through construction. - Collaborate: With Clients and AECOM counterparts to ensure stakeholders buy in to solutions, and also contribute to AECOMs wider technical capability and innovative approach. - Quality: Produce and review deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures. - Deliver: Take responsibility for delivering to the agreed budget, programme and quality along with supporting the preparation of project budget & programme. - Explore: Seek opportunities to innovate and trial new methods by being inquisitive and forward thinking. - Mentor: Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor to more junior staff. Here’s what we’re looking for: - Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. - Possess a range of structural analysis and design experience, particularly in relation to reinforced concrete and steelwork structures. - Experience working in a digital delivery environment using BIM and 3D design tools. - Have a membership/working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (ICE or IStructE).​
