Compliance Trainer – Fixed Term Contract Valeo Foods UK | Norwich | Kettle Chips Fixed Term Contract – Until 31 March 2027 Monday–Friday | Core hours 8/9am–4/5pm, with occasional flexibility required Ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Compliance Trainer to join our team at Valeo Foods UK in Norwich, home to our kettle chip manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows their way around a fast-paced manufacturing environment and loves helping people learn, develop and succeed. You’ll play a key role in making sure our people have the right training, at the right time, and to the right standard — from new starters joining the business to experienced colleagues keeping their knowledge and skills up to date. What will you be doing? As our Compliance Trainer, you’ll be a highly visible presence across the site, working closely with colleagues, managers and new starters to make sure training is completed, recorded and kept current. Your days will be varied and hands-on, including: - Delivering face-to-face and online training across the site. - Supporting the induction of new starters, helping them get off to the best possible start. - Ensuring mandatory and role-specific training is completed on time and remains up to date. - Monitoring training compliance and identifying areas that need attention. - Working with managers and teams to close training gaps and continually improve training compliance. - Spending time on the factory floor, building relationships and understanding the needs of our operational teams. - Helping to drive high levels of training compliance across the site and, importantly, helping us maintain those standards. - Taking ownership of your workload and using your initiative to identify what needs to be done. - Keeping training records accurate and up to date. - Supporting a positive training culture where people understand the importance of doing things safely, correctly and consistently. About you We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll ideally have experience working within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment, and understand the challenges that come with training in a busy operational setting. You’ll be someone who: - Has experience delivering training, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. - Understands the importance of compliance, consistency and accurate training records. - Is confident delivering training both in person and online. - Can engage with people at all levels of the business. - Is comfortable working on the factory floor and being visible and approachable. - Is organised, proactive and able to work independently. - Can manage competing priorities and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment. - Has excellent communication and people skills. - Doesn't wait to be told what needs doing — you’ll spot it, own it and get it done. - Has a practical, hands-on approach and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
