Join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing advanced electro-mechanical products from concept through to delivery. You will be responsible for producing high-quality designs, supporting prototype development, and working closely with electrical and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Seniority: 7+ Years Experience
Security Clearance: Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using NX.
- Generate manufacturing drawings in accordance with BS8888 and GD&T standards.
- Perform engineering calculations including stress analysis and tolerance assessments.
- Support integration activities with electrical and electronics teams.
- Participate in design reviews and technical documentation activities.
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and development activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter to develop and manage mechanical design solutions.
- Strong understanding of 3D CAD modelling, detailed engineering drawings, and GD&T principles.
- Experience producing drawings to recognised standards such as BS8888 or ASME Y14.5.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations including stress analysis and tolerance stack-up assessments.
- Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support product development and integration activities.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with electrical, manufacturing, and project teams.
- Practical and hands-on approach to engineering problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting electric motor or power conversion product development.
- Understanding of ECAD and MCAD integration activities.
- Practical machining experience using conventional workshop equipment.
- Experience assembling and testing engineering prototypes.
