Software Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our growing team and support the development of innovative software solutions within a technically challenging environment. You will work on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of modern applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer and business requirements. This role offers exposure to a variety of technologies, development practices, and complex engineering projects. Location: London Hybrid: 3 days per week on-site Seniority: Mid-Level to Senior Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern development technologies - Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept and design through to deployment and support - Collaborate with technical teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions - Support software testing, integration, and validation activities - Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives - Produce and maintain technical documentation where required - Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and system optimisation - Contribute to Agile team activities and sprint delivery Required Skills - Commercial experience developing software applications using C# and .NET technologies - Experience building and supporting enterprise-level or customer-facing applications - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design principles - Experience working within structured development environments - Familiarity with source control, build management, and modern development tooling - Understanding of software testing approaches and quality assurance practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Soft Skills & Collaboration - Excellent communication skills - Strong stakeholder engagement and teamwork abilities - Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities effectively - Quality-focused approach to software delivery - Ability to work in fast-paced project environments Required Qualifications - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience - Demonstrable experience delivering software solutions within a professional setting Desirable Skills - Experience working within Agile delivery teams - Exposure to cloud-based development environments and DevOps practices - Knowledge of modern software architectures and distributed systems - Familiarity with Microsoft development tools and technologies - Experience within engineering, technology, or highly regulated industries - Exposure to additional programming languages and frameworks
