Claims Assessor

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and detail‑focused Claims Assessor to join our Group Protection Claims team. Offering up to £42,000 depending on experience. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a proactive and high-quality claims service, supporting customers and clients at important moments while ensuring fair and accurate outcomes. What you'll be doing: - Assessing and triaging new Group Protection claims and identifying required evidence - Managing claims end to end, making fair and accurate decisions on liability - Authorising and processing claim payments within agreed authority levels - Building and maintaining relationships with IFAs, employers and stakeholders - Reviewing medical evidence and determining next steps in the claims process - Supporting rehabilitation and return‑to‑work solutions where appropriate - Using data and insight to support portfolio management and identify trends - Ensuring service delivery meets quality, regulatory and customer expectations Who we're looking for: - Experience in claims, Group protection is desirable - Strong analytical skills and ability to make balanced decisions - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders - Good understanding of customer needs and delivering fair outcomes - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workloads effectively - Awareness of regulatory requirements and data protection - Interest in developing knowledge of Group Protection products and claims Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
