Relief Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Carry out regular site patrols and monitor access points. - Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations. - Safeguard our client's people, property, and assets. - Manage keys, security equipment, and access control systems. - Conduct internal and external patrols, remaining vigilant for suspicious activity. - Maintain accurate records, incident reports, logs, and visitor passes. - Provide a professional, welcoming service to staff, visitors, and contractors. - Take appropriate action during incidents until emergency services or additional support arrive. - Follow all health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and concerns promptly. - Deliver outstanding customer service while upholding Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have: - Valid SIA Licence. - Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle due to multiple site locations. - Ability to travel to site within 45 minutes when required. - Knowledge of access control systems and security procedures. - Able to travel form Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Merthyr. - Full flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends. - Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work history (enhanced screening required). - Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. - Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail. - Confident using basic IT systems and computer applications. - A reliable team player who can work independently when needed. - Willingness to cover a variety of locations, including static sites and retail parks.
