Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities Support the work of operational teams by ensuring Laboratory Support Service is completed to a high standard. Work positively and proactively within a team of technicians to ensure laboratory support work is performed in a timely manner. - Laboratory glass washing, collection and redistribution - Pipette management including collection, performance checks and return - Stock checks and ordering of supplies - Reagent preparation - Equipment maintenance - Record keeping and administrative duties - Conduct analytical work using appropriate techniques and in accordance with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 17025) - Act in compliance with the site Health & Safety Policy - Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-equipped work area, observing operational regulations - Assist in our Sample Management area when required.
