Our Sherwood site have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Operative to join their friendly team on a full time permanent basis. As a Control Room Operative you will be responsible for smoothly coordinating and monitoring the warehouse operational processes so as to ensure the loads are picked and dispatched on time. Salary: £32,127 per annum plus £2,402 night shift premium. Working hours: 3 on 3 off nights, 18.00-06.00. Key Duties of a Control Room Operative: - Competently using WMS, including graphics. - Ability to make sufficient changes, quickly and accurately, via WMS, as and when requested by other areas within Culina. - Organising allocation of trailers to bays for loads to be completed in time for expected departure. - Be able to help Warehouse Operatives with any RDT issues. - Effectively using data to control the system, rectifying faults and direct areas to the correct area of the system. - Ability to effectively escalate issues / problems to any of the following: Technicians, Team Leaders, Shift Managers, IT Department and DAI. - Competently communicate using different methods i.e. phone or radio in order to instruct other staff of those tasks which need to be completed. - Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety rules within the working environment. - Generate performance in line with KPI’s as required. - Undertaking further warehouse operative duties of picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in and pallet checking, as requested by Supervisor/Manager. - Previous experience within a warehouse environment. - Able to work under pressure. - Competent in verbal and numerical reasoning. - Attention to detail/accuracy. - Ability to work without direct supervision. - Flexible approach to work/training. - Thrive in a team environment.
