In this role you will provide administrative support to the Manufacturing facility, including but not limited to:
- Overall day-to-day support of project teams and SLT
- Coordinates and organizes logistics for such things as: customer visits, tours, departmental all-hands sessions, team meetings and other events as required and Workplace updates
- Interaction with Facilities / IT – desk moves, IT issues
- Liaising with external counterparts
- Expense entry and submission for SLT members
- Arrange tea/coffee/ buffets for customer visits and internal meetings
- Raise Service Now visitor requests
- Attend and prepare materials for internal and external customer meetings
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
- Cover security guard breaks on reception desk
- Stationary – order stationary and ensure stationary cupboards are stocked at Churchfields
- Arranging and managing room bookings, including the use of the videoconferencing facilities
- Creating and maintaining the appropriate records in the records management system
- Liaise with stakeholders at all levels within the organization
- Administer SharePoint as required
- Other administrative tasks that are reasonable and defined by the area of business that the administrator is supporting

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Previous administration experience in an office or manufacturing setting
- Experience using enterprise systems and collaboration platforms (e.g. Oracle, SharePoint, or similar) would be advantageous
- Experience using a range of business systems to support day-to-day operations, including travel booking, expense management, and document control platforms.
- Computer literate, with good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Numerate, with good written and verbal communication skills
- Methodical approach to record keeping and task prioritisation with exceptional attention to detail
- Conscientious, enthusiastic, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proactive with the confidence and professionalism to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Adaptable to change
- Able to work well and make clear rational decisions under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team and autonomously by managing own workload
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities
- Ability to become knowledgeable on the departmental functions and services within General Dynamics UK in order to direct queries to the appropriate parties
- GCSE Grade 4 / C or above in English and Maths, or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of education and experience.
