In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the successful delivery of the engineering scope of work to the agreed budget and schedule for one or more cutting edge projects
- Lead a talented multi-disciplinary engineering team to delivery industry leading solutions
- Define and develop solutions to emerging customer needs
- Work with world-leading engineers across industry, government and academia
- Contribute to sovereign UK defence capability and international collaboration
To be successful in these roles we are looking for you to bring:
- Previous experience either as a Project Lead Engineer or a Domain Lead Engineer (e.g. Systems, Hardware, Software)
- A good understanding of the multi-disciplines involved in delivering projects
- A good understanding of the challenges associated with Avionic System Engineering such as operating environment
- Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential. We actively support employees in attaining CEng status
- Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred
