Vendor Manager – Procurement

We are looking for a Vendor Manager to shape commercial partnerships and drive value across our global operations. Procurement manages a vast network of global suppliers, ensuring commercial agreements deliver maximum value and operational excellence. The function navigates complex supply chains and high-value contracts. Stepping into this role involves taking ownership of key supplier relationships and driving strategic sourcing initiatives. You will negotiate robust contracts, mitigate commercial risks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of technology and service providers. This role is being offered as a 24-month fixed term contract and will be eligible for inclusion in the company’s hybrid work from home policy. - Proven background in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management - Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating high-value contracts - Deep understanding of procurement lifecycles and contract law principles - Ability to analyse complex market date to inform purchasing strategies - Assertive decision-making capabilities when resolving supplier disputes - Proficiency in using procurement software (PROACTIS preferable) - Experience of direct and indirect purchasing - CIPS qualified at level 4+ or the equivalent workplace experience
