Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor, You will be supporting the Hub Manager, by taking ownership of the team, ensuring that operational targets and SLA's are met, site Health & Safety is upheld and any team escalations are dealt with. You will supervise about 5-6 operatives across Warehouse operation, so ideally, you will have team lead or supervision experience from a Logistics/Distribution background, Have great stock management knowledge and able to effectively communicate across different stakeholders. Role Responsibilities: - Supervising and supporting a team of operatives to deliver daily KPI’s, - Allocating workload, managing priorities and coordinating cover to meet dispatch deadlines, - Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors and ensuring orders are packed correctly, - Coaching team members on processes, safe working and best practice to improve performance, - Ensuring goods are handled, stored and packed to prevent damage and maintain stock integrity, - Maintaining warehouse Heath & Safety standards/Requirements & housekeeping, - Using warehouse systems/scanners to track work and maintain traceability (where applicable), - Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service/transport/branch teams) to resolve issues quickly, - Communicating with external stakeholders such as Customers, Suppliers and External agency support.
