Laboratory Support

- Job Title: Laboratory Support - Job Type: Permanent - Location: Glasgow - Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday - Industry: Health & Nutrition, Life Science Please note: Due to the nature of the role and operational requirements, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. We're looking for a reliable and organised individual to support our laboratory team by helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. This is a hands-on support role focused on housekeeping, stock control, and general laboratory maintenance rather than scientific testing. What You'll Do - Keep laboratory areas clean, tidy, and compliant with procedures. - Manage and replenish laboratory stock and consumables. - Prepare basic laboratory materials and reagents following instructions. - Handle waste disposal and support autoclave activities. - Complete routine documentation and records accurately. - Support scientists by ensuring labs are organised and ready for daily activities. What We're Looking For - Experience in a laboratory support, cleaning, housekeeping, facilities, or similar environment. - Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining high standards. - Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach. - Comfortable following procedures and working safely. - A team player who enjoys supporting others. It is best suited to candidates from cleaning, housekeeping, production support, laboratory assistant, or laboratory support backgrounds who are looking for a stable, hands-on role within a scientific environment.
