The candidate will support the negotiations for writers, producers, cast, production companies and other related deals and will work closely with Studio legal affairs to assist in finalizing agreements
Basic qualifications:
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Significant experience in the entertainment sector, representing or working for a media law firm, film or TV production company, studio or network.
- Experience with complex commercial agreements (underlying rights, work-for-hire productions, co-productions, licenses, distribution) and talent agreements (authors, writers, directors, actors, producers).
- A deep understanding of the UK film and television industry including a comprehensive knowledge of UK deal structures and talent representatives.
