Data Center Facility Engineer, Data Center Engineering Operations

We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls) - Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings - Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controls - NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or NFQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Demonstrable experience working with pressurised water systems, pipework installations, and fluid distribution networks - Knowledge of ACOP L8 (Legionnaires' disease: The control of legionella bacteria in water systems) and HSG274 guidance, with experience implementing compliant water treatment regimes - Practical understanding of fluid dynamics principles including flow rates, pressure drop, cavitation, and heat transfer
