AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers
Basic qualifications:
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
- Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controls
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or NFQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Demonstrable experience working with pressurised water systems, pipework installations, and fluid distribution networks
- Knowledge of ACOP L8 (Legionnaires' disease: The control of legionella bacteria in water systems) and HSG274 guidance, with experience implementing compliant water treatment regimes
- Practical understanding of fluid dynamics principles including flow rates, pressure drop, cavitation, and heat transfer
