Our high scale distributed systems process hundreds of millions of updates Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design - Experience designing and building large-scale systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture) - Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, big "O" analysis and designing for performance, scalability and availability - Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a clear commitment to making Amazon a great place to work
