- Review and assess engineering concessions and non-conformances affecting aerospace mechanical and structural components.
- Investigate issues including dimensional deviations, material defects and manufacturing discrepancies.
- Support engineering decisions and technical dispositions, including use-as-is, rework, repair or rejection/scrap.
- Review engineering drawings, tolerances, specifications and manufacturing information to understand the impact of non-conformances.
- Work closely with Stress, Materials, Design, Manufacturing and Quality engineers to determine whether deviations are technically acceptable.
- Support the preparation of engineering justifications, concession reports, deviation requests and non-conformance documentation.
- Ensure engineering decisions maintain design intent, structural integrity, safety and applicable aerospace requirements.
- Support root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring manufacturing or product issues.
- Contribute to corrective actions, including design changes and manufacturing process improvements.
