We're looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community-based overnight service across Argyll & Bute, including our rural and island communities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patients and families when they need support most, helping people remain within their local community during their final days. About the Role Working overnight in patients' homes, you will provide high-quality, holistic care to people approaching the end of life, helping them remain comfortable, supported and cared for in the place they call home. You will deliver personalised care that promotes dignity, comfort and emotional wellbeing, not only for patients but also for the people closest to them. Your calm and reassuring presence throughout the night will provide vital peace of mind to families, knowing that expert care is available when it matters most. This role covers communities across Argyll & Bute, with travel of up to 40 miles from your home address required. Due to the unique geography of the region, there will also be occasional overnight stays to support patients and families in our island communities, ensuring everyone has access to the high-quality end of life care they deserve.
