Hybrid Working | High-Impact Global Role | NYSE-Listed Environment
Overview
We’re looking for a confident and motivated tax professional to play a pivotal role in Endava’s global finance function. Reporting to our Head of Tax & Treasury in London, you will take ownership of the Group’s quarterly tax reporting and forecasting cycle—shaping the accuracy, insight and integrity of our tax position across the Group’s international footprint.
Endava is a fast-growing, NYSE-listed, UK-headquartered technology services company operating under IFRS and within a SOX-compliant environment. This role offers the best of both worlds: the exposure and complexity of a listed global organisation, combined with a supportive, people-centred culture where your ideas will be welcomed and your expertise valued.
Beyond core reporting, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to high-visibility strategic initiatives—such as Pillar 2 implementation, M&A, transfer pricing, tax risk reviews and ongoing process transformation projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Endava’s quarterly tax reporting and forecasting, ensuring high-quality outputs and robust insights for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with IAS 12 and other tax-related accounting standards across the Group.
- Partner closely with Group Finance and external auditors, becoming a trusted advisor and key point of contact for tax accounting matters.
- Identify opportunities to automate, optimise and enhance processes, including leveraging technology to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyse effective tax rate drivers, model scenarios (including the impact of M&A), and conduct competitor benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
- Group-wide reporting initiatives such as Country-by-Country Reporting and Total Tax Contribution analysis.
- Support statutory account preparation for individual entities.
- Contribute to a wide range of global tax projects, providing exposure to diverse issues across jurisdictions and business lines.
What You Bring
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
- Strong technical experience in group consolidated tax reporting within a multinational or complex environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts and influence stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, often across multiple time zones.
- At least 4 years’ post-qualified experience in a relevant role.
Desirable Experience (Nice to Have)
- Prior in-house tax exposure.
- Experience working within a SOX-controlled environment.
- Knowledge of deferred tax modelling and related analytical tools.
Why Join Endava?
At Endava, you’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking finance community within a company that continues to scale rapidly. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Make a real impact in shaping a key global process.
- Work closely with senior leaders and gain exposure to strategic Group initiatives.
- Grow your career within a listed, international organisation that invests in its people.
- Benefit from a flexible, hybrid working environment and a culture built on trust, integrity and continuous learning.
