We’re looking for a dedicated Radiographer to join our specialist team at Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital in Longbridge. This is a full-time position made up of 40 hours over 4 days.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art referral environment, supporting a wide range of hospital disciplines and referring practices by delivering high-quality multi-modality imaging services.
Blaise Veterinary Referrals is a large-scale, multi-disciplinary, specialist-led referral hospital which encompasses the culture and values we pride ourselves on at Inspiring Vet Care. We have an outstanding team of recognised specialists across a multitude of disciplines including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue and Anaesthesia.
The hospital is one of the largest in the UK at over 36,000 sq ft, with the capacity to treat up to 10,000 pets per year. From the site we provide specialist-led multi-discipline veterinary referrals and an emergency service. The site has easy access from the A38 through Longbridge and is part of the West Longbridge regeneration project.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Referral Veterinary Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities, supporting complex referral cases within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
You’ll work closely with clinicians and nursing teams to ensure patients are prepared, imaged, and cared for to the highest standards, while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the imaging service.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing high-quality diagnostic imaging across CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and radiography
* Supporting the safe preparation and positioning of patients for imaging procedures
* Working collaboratively with clinicians and nurses to optimise case workflow and patient care
* Maintaining imaging equipment and suites to the highest standard
* Carrying out routine quality assurance checks and ensuring compliance with protocols
* Contributing to a positive, team-focused culture within the imaging department
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
We’re looking for a qualified radiographer with a passion for diagnostic imaging and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care within a referral setting. You’ll bring:
* HCPC registration with a DCR or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography
* Ideally, experience within veterinary imaging, though this is not essential
* Membership of the Society of Radiographers (desirable)
* A strong commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism, and ethical standards
* A patient-focused approach with high regard for animal welfare
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Working Pattern
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, likely across four days.
There may also be a requirement to participate in some weekend working in the future as the service develops.
