Laboratory Technician

- Job Title: Laboratory Technician - Job Type: Temporary 12 months - Salary: £24,758 pa - Location: Cambridge - Hours: Monday To Friday 9am to 5pm - Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food This is an entry level position so we are not requiring any previous lab experience or degree. Role overview: - Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs. - Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff. - Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records. - Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output. - Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. This is an entry level position so we are not requiring any previous lab experience or degree. - Experience in working with food and fast paced environments - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. - Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance. - Proactive approach to learning and development.
