We’re looking for someone with the experience and judgement to understand what kinds of events will genuinely attract and appeal to our B2B clients and prospects, and deliver the creativity, organisation and commercial focus to bring those ideas to life. You’ll develop, manage and deliver a portfolio of B2B events, from event conception and curation through to audience development, attendance and onsite execution. We’re looking for someone who combines strong B2B events experience with commercial instinct, excellent judgement and strong management skills. - Extensive experience within B2B events or marketing, with a proven track record of delivering successful B2B events and strong experience in B2B lead generation. - A natural understanding of what will interest, engage and motivate senior B2B audiences. - Commercial mind combined with strong management skills: able to connect the dots within the business and effectively manage stakeholders, projects and budgets. - Proven ability to take an event from idea and proposition through to audience generation, execution and measurable commercial outcome. - Excellent communicator and influencer: strong copywriting, clear written and verbal communication, impeccable face-to-face and phone manner, and strong interpersonal skills. - Fast-paced problem-solver who is comfortable working in an “all-hands-on-deck” team environment. - Self-starter with strong project-management experience and the confidence to take ownership and make decisions. - Tech-savvy with good business acumen: strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft 365, project-management platforms such as Notion, CRM, CMS and Teams. - Experience understanding and influencing the sales cycle, marketing funnel and customer journey, combined with an outcome-driven attitude. - Strong negotiation skills and experience managing digital marketing and event budgets.
