Onboarding Calculations Consultant

Are you experienced in Defined Benefit pensions and confident working with scheme calculations, member records and customer claims? This could be a great opportunity to use your technical knowledge in a role where accuracy, care and customer outcomes really matter. As an Onboarding Calculations Consultant, you’ll support the maintenance of scheme data, administer and update individual member records, and complete manual calculations for ongoing and new schemes moving into Client Services. You’ll be part of the Onboarding Calculations Team, helping ensure members and intermediaries receive clear, accurate and timely support. What you'll be doing: - Providing an efficient administration and claims service to scheme members and intermediaries - Completing manual calculations for Defined Benefit Pension Schemes - Calculating individual Defined Benefit quotations accurately - Drafting clear and concise communications for members and third-party intermediaries - Checking and authorising Defined Benefit claim payments - Setting up and maintaining scheme records, investigating anomalies and taking action - Acting as a technical point of contact for queries, sensitive schemes and priority work - Following standard operating procedures and keeping a clear audit trail Who we're looking for: - Understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes - Knowledge of how Defined Benefit benefits are structured and administered - Experience completing or supporting manual pension calculations - Ability to manage tight timescales and prioritise work effectively - Confidence escalating issues, risks or blockers when needed - Awareness of GDPR, Money Laundering, Complaints and Consumer Duty requirements - Strong customer focus and the ability to build positive working relationships - Pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or demonstrable equivalent experience Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
