HR Officer

The role will be varied and interesting and will include: - Appraisals - Return to Work - Exit interviews - Retention strategy – design and implementation - Keeping up to date with changing HR legislation - Collecting and monitoring data - HR related meetings (from informal to disciplinaries) - Promoting staff wellbeing - Support with team meetings and other staff activity - Delivering some training (as required) - Some training administration - External training management - Supervisions - Spot checks (willingness to be in the field) - Competencies (willingness to be in the field) The HR officer will have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure. They will be a team player who is self-motivated, results driven and resilient and someone who pays excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. The HR officer will be full time, office based, enjoying a salary of £28k to £32k with 20 days holiday, pension and blue light card. It is not essential to hold formal HR qualifications, just a genuine interest in supporting and developing people and willingness to learn necessary HR legislation/processes. Knowledge/experience of the care sector might be an advantage
