Security Officer

- Monitor and control site access, ensuring visitors are correctly authorised before entry. - Conduct regular internal and external patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment. - Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations. - Monitor CCTV systems and key access points where applicable. - Maintain accurate incident reports, logs, and security records. - Support residents and visitors by providing guidance and managing behaviours professionally. - Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, residents, and visitors at all times. - Liaise with management regarding serious incidents and security concerns. - Enforce site procedures relating to fire safety, access control, and occupancy compliance. - Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. - Valid SIA Licence. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong observation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. - Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. - High level of attention to detail. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Capable of working independently and as part of a team. - Ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally. - Right to work in the UK. - Ability to provide a five-year checkable employment history and satisfy screening requirements, including enhanced DBS checks where required. - Full UK Driving Licence - Fire Warden qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
