Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Conduct regular internal and external patrols, monitoring CCTV, alarms, and security systems. - Control access, manage keys, visitor passes, and lock/unlock procedures. - Respond to incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, and security breaches. - Complete accurate records, logs, handovers, and incident reports. - Support staff, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a safe and secure environment. - Follow health & safety procedures, report hazards, and assist with emergency evacuations. - Assist with traffic management, parking control, and lost property where required. - Prevent unauthorised access and protect people, property, and assets at all times. Ideally, you’ll have: ✅ Valid SIA Licence ✅ Minimum 2 years' security experience ✅Full UK Driver's license required. ✅ SC Clearance desirable, or ability to obtain it ✅ Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work history ✅ British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (site requirement) ✅ Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and varying shift patterns ✅ Strong written and spoken English communication skills ✅ Professional, reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure ✅ Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills ✅ Experience working for a global organisation is desirable ✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team in a high-security environment
