Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors. - Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems. - Control access, manage keys, visitor passes, and lock/unlock procedures. - Respond to emergencies, evacuations, fire alarms, and security incidents. - Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and handovers. - Ensure compliance with site procedures, security regulations, and health & safety requirements. - Remain vigilant, prevent disruption, and protect people, property, and assets. - Assist with searches, traffic management, parking control, and lost property when required. Ideally, you’ll have: ✅ Valid SIA Licence ✅ Minimum 2 years' security experience ✅ Able to obtain BPSS Clearance ✅ Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work history ✅ British national and UK resident for the past 5 years (site requirement) ✅ Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and varying shift patterns ✅ Strong written and spoken English communication skills ✅ Professional, reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure ✅ Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to security duties
