Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Protection of Property & Premises - Prevent unauthorised access and monitor security systems. - Patrol internal and external areas as instructed. - Manage traffic and parking restrictions. - Conduct security equipment checks. - Control keys, locking/unlocking, and access passes. - Maintain logs and records. - Handle lost property in line with procedures. Health & Safety - Support staff, visitors, and contractors while safeguarding the premises. - Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and report incidents. - Keep emergency routes clear and equipment accessible. - Report shortages of first aid supplies. - Notify the Security Operations Centre (SOC) of emergencies. - Investigate fire alarm activations.
