Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Protection of Property and Premises - Prevent unauthorised access and monitor alarms/CCTV. - Conduct regular internal and external patrols. - Manage traffic, parking, keys, and locking/unlocking duties. - Carry out routine equipment checks and maintain records/logbooks. - Issue visitor passes and manage site equipment per procedures. - Handle lost property in line with instructions. Health and Safety - Support staff, visitors, and contractors to ensure site safety. - Follow and enforce health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and incidents. - Keep emergency routes clear at all times. - Report use and shortages of First Aid supplies. - Notify SOC in emergencies and follow instructions. - Investigate all fire alarm activations. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards, with a strong team mindset. You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years , Must be British National - Must be able to achieve and obtain SC Clearance - SIA Licence (essential) - Right to work in the UK, with a 5 year checkable history. - First Aid qualification - Must be 18 and have no criminal convictions - Good communication skills and customer focus, ability to work independently and in a team. - Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shifts (days/nights/weekends). - Full UK driving licence and own transport desirable. - Previous experience in a security or gatehouse role (preferred).
