Relief Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: - Control site access and monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems. - Conduct regular patrols to protect people, property, and assets. - Manage visitors, contractors, and vehicle access. - Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations. - Report hazards, accidents, and security concerns promptly. - Prevent theft, damage, and unauthorised access. - Complete accurate reports and maintain security records. - Deliver excellent customer service and support site safety. - Ensure compliance with all site procedures, health & safety requirements, and Securitas standards. - Liaise with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and emergency services when required. - Carry out searches, inspections, and other security duties as directed. - Promote Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness at all times. Ideally, you’ll have: What We're Looking For - Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence - Minimum 2 years' security experience - UK National - Full UK Driving Licence - Ability to obtain and maintain SC (Security Check) Clearance - Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment/history record - Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years (site requirement) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills - Professional, reliable, and able to work independently - Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure - Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays Why Join Securitas?
