Relief Security Officer

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Protection of Property & Premises - As a Security Officer, monitor site access, alarms, CCTV, and conduct security patrols. - Carry out keyholding, site checks, and maintain security records. - The Security Officer will issue passes, manage equipment, and respond to incidents. - Deal with lost property and ensure site security procedures are followed. Health & Safety - The Security Officer will promote a safe environment for staff, visitors, and contractors. - Report hazards, accidents, and ensure emergency routes remain clear. - Monitor and report any First Aid equipment usage or shortages. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have: - Valid SIA Licence. - Right to work in the UK. - Aged 18 or over. - 5-year checkable employment/education history or additional documents to cover. - No unspent criminal convictions. - Full UK driving licence and access to own transport preferred. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team. - Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends. - Demonstrates Securitas values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Desirable - Previous Security Officer experience. - First Aid qualification.
