Piping Stress Engineer

🚀 The Job Mission You will perform detailed pipe stress analysis for high-integrity piping systems across complex nuclear projects. You will provide specialist engineering input covering flexibility, thermal, seismic and equipment loading assessments. 🔧Perform detailed pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software 📐Assess flexibility, thermal expansion, vibration and seismic loading ⚙️Evaluate pipe supports, restraints and spring hanger requirements 📚Apply ASME, EN, RCC-M and project-specific design requirements 🔍Assess piping loads transferred onto connected mechanical equipment 📋Produce clear stress reports, calculation notes and technical justifications 🏗️Review piping layouts, isometrics and 3D models for stress requirements 🤝Coordinate technical interfaces with piping, process and structural teams 🛡️Support design reviews, risk assessments and nuclear quality requirements 👥Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams 🎓Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline 🔧Proven experience as a Pipe Stress Engineer on complex projects 💻Strong proficiency using CAESAR II for piping stress analysis 📚Working knowledge of ASME Section III and B31 piping codes ⚙️Understanding of static equipment including vessels and heat exchangers 📐Strong understanding of piping flexibility and support methodologies 📋Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills 🔍Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities 🛡️Experience within nuclear or other high-integrity industries advantageous 💻Knowledge of E3D, PDMS, Navisworks or AutoCAD advantageous
