The Mechanical Engineer shall work closely with multi-disciplined teams and the supply chain to help deliver the Turbine Island design. Your mission: - Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements. - Develop and check design documents with Senior Engineers. - Assist in design development activities and optioneering studies. - Apply Systems Engineering principles. - Integrate Turbine Island design into wider power plant infrastructure. - Engage with stakeholders and attend design reviews. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality management. Additional Information: - Familiar with European and Offshore standards: Experience with Eurocode 3 and DNV. - Master’s degree is a plus. - Skilled in checking and approving engineering CAD assemblies and drawings. - Proficient in verifying engineering documentation: Manual calculations, reports, etc. - Excellent Finite Element Analysis skills: In-depth knowledge of ANSYS Workbench is desirable. - Experienced in non-linear and fatigue FEA: Familiar with DNV and Eurocodes.
