Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to join our Data Centre Engineering Operations (DCEO) team. In this role you will support the operation, monitoring and maintenance
Basic qualifications:
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units
- Experience implementing and enforcing safety standards within warehouse and maintenance environments
- Experience working with electrical or mechanical infrastructure systems
- Hands-on experience performing maintenance, inspections or troubleshooting on plant equipment
- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment supporting 24/7 operations
